peanug420 is a multidisciplinary artist based in Virginia. he experiments with both virtual reality and conventional mediums: acrylic/mixed media on canvas, airbrush on fabrics, digital illustration, and street photography.

growing up in an encouraging and creative home, peanug was exposed to many different forms of art at an early age. he first started to pursue art by creating digital comics in MS Paint and editing AMVs (anime music videos) with Dragon Ball Z clips as a preadolescence, which then turned to him creating forum banners via. Photoshop, and as a young teen he then discovered FL Studio and began producing for his friends and himself.

late 2020 while working at a local studio as an audio engineer, peanug learned about web3 and NFTs during the crypto boom —— which in turn opened a new creative door for him. leaving music behind, he began minting on Solana in Q2 2021, in the beginning he was only minting commissioned pieces but later started to create multiple series of his own. 

*nug's primary motivation for his artwork is self-reflection — a creative account of his experiences and emotions.
